National highways form the economic backbone of the country. India has the world’s 2nd largest road network spanning about 3.3million km. National highways constitute 2% of Indian roads; they carry 40% of the traffic. However, there is a significant shortage of comprehensive wayside utilities on Indian highways. Wayside Utilities has been started with an aim to provide a seamless travel experience along the national highways to all the travellers across the country. Starting with the state of Andhra Pradesh we plan to expand to other states in future. Wayside Utilities visions to provide car, bus passengers and truck drivers suitable, safe options to stop and rest. Wayside utilities would include restaurant/food courts, parking bay, shower area, washrooms, EV charging points, ATM’s, minor repair shops, first aid, storage, driver dormitories.
